Ariel Celestino Eliminated in 12th Place (£26,155)

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Ariel Celestino (Day 2) - 12th Place
Ariel Celestino (Day 2) - 12th Place

While Talal Shakerchi was doubling, we heard that there was an all in and a call at the feature table. We hustled over to see that Ariel Celestino was all in with {q-}{4-} against Sorel Mizzi's {a-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and the board was completed {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. We're unsure when the money went in the middle — we presume it happened on the flop or the turn — but we are certain that Celestino was eliminated in 12th place, earning £26,155.

GTO Talk

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Talal Shakerchi doubles
Talal Shakerchi doubles

Talal Shakerchi moved all in for 320,000 from the small blind, and the action was on Canadian Jason Lavallee in the big. He sat quietly for the better part of a minute, re-checked his cards, then sighed.

"You might've gotten me with that GTO talk yesterday," he said.

Shakerchi chuckled.

"GTO" is short for game theory optimal, and it seems as if Lavallee was convinced that Shakerchi could be shoving light, because he called and tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Shakerchi wasn't as light as Lavallee expected, turning over {k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}.

The flop, turn, and rive came out {7-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{3-Spades}, and the defending EPT London high roller champion doubled to 658,000 chips. Lavallee fell to 830,000.

"No Limit Bingo!"

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Frederik Jensen
Frederik Jensen

During the first hand of the tournament Jason Lavallee raised under the gun and Frederik Jensen immediately moved all in over the top for 149,000.

"Didn't take you long kid," David Ulliott said right away as Simon Higgins folded and Mark Teltscher went into the tank.

Teltscher took about a minute but eventually he put in the call. Ulliott folded and Lavallee said, "Guess I'll fold," before throwing his cards into the muck.

Jensen: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
Teltscher: {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

The board ran out {6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Jensen doubled up.

"No limit bingo," Ulliott said with a smile on his face as play continues with 12 players.

Day 3 on the Horizon

Carla Sabini - Chip leader
Carla Sabini - Chip leader

The third and final day of the £10,000+300 EPT10 London High Roller is set to begin in a half hour or so, and leading the 12 remaining players is Canadian Carla Sabini. Sabini bagged 1.346 million after Day 2, and needs to finish fifth or higher to record the largest score of her career. Joining her atop the counts are fellow Canadians Jason Lavallee and Sorel Mizzi, and Brits Tamer Kamel and David "Devil Fish" Ulliott.

The defending champion of this event, Talal Shakerchi, is still alive and looking to defend his title. Shakerchi lost a sizable pot to the Devil Fish near the end of Day 2, and will start the final day with just over 17 big blinds.

Rounding out the final 12 players are Frederik Jensen, Ariel Celestino, Team PokerStars Pro Luca Pagano, Antonio Lafosse, and Mark Teltscher.

The cards will be in the air at noon local time, and we will be on hand to watch the remaining dozen players compete for the first-place prize of £357,700 and the title of high roller champion.
