Katchalov Four-Bets the Flop

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov was heads up on a flop with Ola Amundsgard which showed {K-Hearts}{7-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. Katchalov checked to Amundsgard who bet 2,100 and he was quickly raised up to 5,200.

Amundsgard gave it some thought before three-betting to 9,200 and the action was back on Katchalov. The former PCA Super High Roller winner threw in a little more and four-bet to 13,200 and Amundsgard made the call.

On the turn the {8-Diamonds} hit and both players checked. The river brought the {Q-Hearts} and now Katchalov bet 6,500 with 7,500 left behind. Amundsgard folded but he is still one of the chip leaders with around 95,000 chips. Katchalov is now back up to around 45,000.

Trips For Andreev

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

The board showed {K-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts} when Andrey Andreev bet 1,000 and Richard Yong called. Dimitar Danchev was seated on the button and raised to 4,000 and only Andreev called.

The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and this time Andreev checked to Danchev who bet 9,500. Andreev snap-called and Danchev showed {A-Clubs}{K-Hearts}. Andreev took down the pot with {3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and he's now almost back up to the starting stack.

Negreanu Plays Just One Hand, Behbehani Slowrolls

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante
Salman Behbehani during the Main Event
Salman Behbehani during the Main Event

Team PokerStars Pro Daniel Negreanu sat down right after the break and was knocked out in the first hand of play. Salman Behbehani raised from early position to 800 and Negreanu announced he was going to raise.

"I'm raising," Negreanu added while he was thinking about how much to put in.

Eventually Negreanu made it 2,100 and the action was folded to Philipp Gruissem on the button.

"Come on Philipp," Negreanu said with a smile as the German went over his options.

After a while Gruissem folded, laughed and said, "There's no more money in my account," as the entire table started laughing.

Behbehani made the call when it was folded to him and the flop brought out {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}. Behbehani checked to Negreanu who bet 3,100 and his opponent wanted to call quickly but accidentally put in too many chips. Behbehani was forced to make at least a min raise and put in 6,200.

Negreanu called.

On the turn the {2-Spades} hit and Behbehani quickly tossed in 10,000. Negreanu did not hesitate and made the call after which the river completed the board with the {8-Clubs}. Behbehani threw a large pile of blue chips across the line to put Negreanu all in.

"Well, I said I was going to do a rebuy," Negreanu said as he put in the call.

"Deuces," Behbehani said and turned over {K-Spades}{10-Spades} for the second nut flush.

Negreanu quickly turned over his {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and noticed a second later he did not have the best hand.

"You slow rolled me?" Negreanu said as he did not appreciate Behbehani's action.

"Yeah I did," Behbehani said while he apologized and seemed happy at the same time. Negreanu wasn't pleased and left the room to do a rebuy. Some of the other players at the table also expressed that they didn't like Behbehani's behavior, but he smiled and said it was "pretty fun."

Luca Pagano, High Roller

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante
Luca Pagano
Luca Pagano

The Italian Team PokerStars Pro, Luca Pagano, is usually either too busy or too bank-roll conscious to play the EPT High Roller events, so much so that PokerStars Blog thought he was joking when he said he was signing up today. Not so. He's going to be making boats with three-high instead.
