Sam Greenwood on Day 1
Sam Greenwood on Day 1

The board read {2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} when Sam Greenwood just ended up all in for his tournament life against Georgios Karakousis. The Canadian pro was all in for 104,000 on the turn and the showdown went as following.

Greenwood: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Karakousis: {Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Karakousis was drawing dead and the river was the meaningless {A-Clubs}. Greenwood doubled up and is now slightly above his Day 3 starting stack.

Devilfish Doesn't Show

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

With 55,000 or so in the pot and a board reading {2-Clubs}{2-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Daniel Reijmer bet 20,000 from the small blind and David "Devilfish" Ulliott called from middle position. When the {J-Clubs} completed the board on the river, Reijmer bet out 45,000 and Ulliott thought for about 40 seconds before announcing that he was all in for 84,500 more.

Reijmer didn't seemed pleased, which prompted Ulliott to say," Call I'll show. If you fold I'll show you."

Reijmer tanked for about two minute while the Devilfish leaned back in his chair and chatted him up. Eventually Reijmer folded, and the Devilfish let a devilish grin cross his face before slowly sliding his cards to the dealer unseen.
