Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

The end of the road for Pete Charalambous. He was all in with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} against Senh Ung's {J-Clubs}{J-Spades} and was already getting up to leave after the {10-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop.

No miracle running eights on the {2-Hearts} turn and {9-Hearts} river and the Nottingham regular was eliminated.

Kozlov Sends Brammer Home

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Chris Brammer
Chris Brammer

Martin Kozlov raised to 10,000 under the gun and Chris Brammer three-bet from the small blind to 33,000. Kozlov made the call and the flop brought {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

Brammer check-called a bet on the flop after which the turn brought the {4-Hearts}. Brammer checked again and Kozlov bet 76,500.

Brammer went into the tank for about six minutes according to bystanders before moving all in for 247,500 chips. After this move Kozlov tanked for about two minutes before pulling the trigger.

Brammer: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}
Kozlov: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

The river brought the {10-Diamonds} and Brammer was knocked out in this enormous pot. Kozlov is now one of the chip leaders with 800,000 chips.

King Dan No Match for the Devilfish

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Dan Smith
Dan Smith

In the last hand before the break, David "Devilfish" Ulliott opened for 13,000 from middle position and Dan Smith responded by moving all in for 73,500 from the hijack. Action folded back to Ulliott and he thought a bit before making the call.

Ulliott: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Smith: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

As it turned out, Ulliott was a huge favorite. The {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop provided little hope for Smith, and the {2-Hearts} turn left him drawing to a jack on the river to save his tournament life. As the TV cameras rolled, the dealer burned and put out the {2-Spades}.

Moseley Takes a Big Hit

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

On the last hand before the break Andy Moseley raised to 11,000 under the gun plus one and the action was folded to Steven Warbuton. Warburton was seated on the button and three-bet to 30,500. Both blinds folded and Moseley called.

The flop brought {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the turn the {J-Hearts} hit and Moseley fired out 41,000, Warburton called.

The river brought the {6-Hearts} and Moseley bet 100,000. Warburton tanked for quite a bit and eventually moved all in covering Moseley. Moseley folded after a while and was left with around 155,000 chips.
