Flush Over Flush Benefits Perkins
It looks like Bill Perkins' decision to re-enter was a good one as he was just on the good end of a flush-over-flush hand.
We didn't catch all the details, but we do know the board read ![]()

when both players got 75,000 in the pot. When the
completed the board on the river, there was a bet of 80,000 (by which player we're not sure) and a call.
Jouhkimainen tabled the ![]()
for a king-high flush, but unfortunately for him it was no good as Perkins held the ![]()
for an ace-high flush.
In the very next hand, a player opened for 2,600 and Perkins three-bet to 5,000 from the cutoff. Jouhkimainen then four-bet to 13,000 from the button, the blinds and original raiser folded, and Perkins made the call. Both players proceeded to check the ![]()

flop, the
turned and Perkins bet 10,000. Jouhkimainen popped it to 22,000, Perkins tank-called and the
completed the board on the river. Perkins slowed down with a check and then folded when Jouhkimainen bet 40,000.
