Pinho Waited Too Long

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Portugal's Henrique Pinho, who just so happens to be a Team PokerStars Pro, opened for 525 and received a call from Bulgaria's Boyan Asenov in the hijack. The rest of the field folded, the flop came down {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{q-Spades}, and both players checked. They did the same on the {2-Hearts} turn, and then Pinho bet a modest 300 on the {A-Hearts} river. Asenov made a quick call and Pinho revealed the {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a flopped pair of queens. Unfortunately for him, he waited too long to bet as Asenov caught up on the river with his {a-Spades}{4-Spades} to steal the pot.

Despite losing that hand, Pinho is still sitting pretty with 40,000.
