Harold Sets It Up

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Stig Harold, a PokerStars player from Sweden, had opened the action from under the gun and we joined the action as four other players saw the flop come {j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. A bet of 750 from Harold did nothing to deter the other players and all five players saw a turn card of {q-Spades}. Another bet from Harold, this time for 1,850, and his only customer was Ronny Schimpf in the small blind, a PokerStars player from Germany. The river card was the {a-Spades} and Schimpf checked for the last time. Harold bet out a chunky 4,050 and it didn’t take Schimpf too long to throw in a couple of chips to indicate the call. Harold tabled the {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for the flopped set and it was good as Schimpf slid his cards towards the dealer.
