Action Players Collide: Minieri vs. Tran
Dario Minieri and Henry Tran are both action players, which is why we stopped by there table to watch them battle it out in a decent-sized pot.
It happened when both put in 5,700 and saw a flop of 
. Minieri checked from early position and then called when Tran bet 3,600 from middle position. Minieri proceeded to check-call another bet, this time 4,200, on the 
turn, and then both players checked the 
river.
Tran turned over 
for a pair of jacks, but it was no good as Minieri revealed 
for a winning pair of kings. Both players are off to a good start here on Day 1b and well above the starting stack.
