Mike McDonald Eliminated in 4th Place (€269,400)

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante
Mike McDonald - 4th Place
Mike McDonald - 4th Place

Mike McDonald raised to 200,000 from under the gun with {K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds} and Vitaly Lunkin called from the small blind with {6-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. Steve O'Dwyer peeked at his cards in the big blind, saw {K-Hearts}{J-Spades}, and tossed out a call as well.

The trio took in an absolutely mammoth flop of {Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. This flop gave McDonald trips against Lunkin's full house. There were two checks over to McDonald who moved out a continuation bet of 250,000. Lunkin slid out a check-raise to 750,000 and O'Dwyer mucked his hand. McDonald thought for a moment and then flat called to see a turn.

Fourth street was the {8-Spades} and Lunkin came out swinging with a bet of 1,000,000. Timex replied by shipping all in over the top for 1.95 million and Lunkin snapped him off. McDonald was left looking to make a bigger full house on the river but it was actually Lunkin who improved with the final card as the {6-Spades} rivered giving him quads. McDonald was eliminated in fourth place and will collect €269,400.

Seidel Tries to Get Some Delicious Lunkin Donuts

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Vitaly Lunkin opened for 225,000 from the under-the-gun position with the {q-Spades}{j-Spades} and Erik Seidel defended from the big blind holding the {9-Spades}{7-Spades}. When the flop came down {10-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}, Seidel opted to lead out for 250,000 and Lunkin just called with top pair.

The dealer then burned and turned the {6-Clubs}, Seidel bet 675,000 and again Lunkin just called. A big pot was building, and Seidel could have been in trouble if he continued his bluff after the {Q-Diamonds} river gave Lunkin two pair. Seidel must have thought better of it as he checked and then quickly folded when Lunkin bet 1 million.

Seidel Ships Again

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Erik Seidel was first to act and opened with a raise to 200,000 with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}. Vitaly Lunkin thought for a moment before flatting from the button with {A-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Steve O'Dwyer folded his small blind and action was then on Mike McDonald in the big blind.

McDonald looked down at {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and cut out a three-bet to 575,000. Seidel responded by four-bet shoving all in and Lunkin quickly released. McDonald followed suit and Seidel dragged in the pot, bringing his stack to around 3.2 million.

Seidel Shoves

Level 21 : 50,000/100,000, 10,000 ante

Vitaly Lunkin raised to 220,000 from under the gun with {A-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and Steve O'Dwyer flat called from the next seat over on the button with {A-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Erik Seidel looked at his cards in the big blind and announced an all in bet for 1.84 million. Lunkin folded and O'Dwyer waited a moment.

"Do you want to show your cards to the camera before I act?" asked O'Dwyer to Seidel.

Seidel showed his cards to the camera and revealed {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. O'Dwyer then made a comment that it wasn't fair if every other player at the table was showing their hand to the camera and revealing information about their hands if Seidel was not.

"I didn't know there was a live stream," remarked Seidel as O'Dwyer folded his hand.

Seidel dragged in the pot and is now sitting over the 2 million chip mark.
