Voth Over-Bet Works to Trap Sekularac

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

PokerNews ran into Ognjen Sekularac and he was saying how he was over 200,000 only for a few annoying pots to go against him. He thought it was a break so was going to clear his head. After he realised that the break wasn't for another level he sat back down and immediately lost a massive pot with a hero river call.

Ronny Voth raised to 2,400 from the cut-off and was called by Sekularac and Timothy Adams in the big blind. The flop fanned {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Adams led for 3,600. Both players called to see the {5-Spades} turn and Voth bet 13,500 when the action got to him. Only Sekularac called.

Things got really interesting on the {9-Hearts} river as Voth bet a massive 90,000. It represented most of the Serbian's remaining stack and required deep thought. After a few minutes he asked Voth if he would show one card if he folded. No response came. After another minute Sekularac called and saw Voth slam down {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for a full house.

Sekularac nodded, mucked and shook his head that is clearly not in a clear place right now.
