Another Flurry of Eliminations

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Over on Table 3, we found Paul Volpe all in and at risk with {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} against Aaron Lim's {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}. Volpe made a set of aces on a flop of {10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{a-Clubs}, but the {j-Clubs} on the turn gave Lim Broadway. The {3-Diamonds} bricked off on the river, and Volpe was eliminated.

Jake Cody hit the rail in a small blind vs. button scenario against Vojtech Ruzicka. Cody's {a-}{j-} was behind Ruzicka's {a-}{k-}, and the ace-king held.

Dominik Nitsche got the rest of his small stack in preflop holding {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} against Jan-Peter Jachtmann's {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}. The board rolled out {5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}{q-Hearts}, and Nitsche was eliminated.
