Scheidt Climbing

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Alejandro Federico de Arruabarrena limped in from under the gun, German Team Pro Sandra Naujoks called on his direct left, Erik Scheidt raised to 6,400 on her direct left, and Huseyin Erbay moved all in for 39,200 in the hijack seat.

The action folded back to Scheidt, who snap-called.

Erbay: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Scheidt: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

Erbay was in bad shape when the dealer spread {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}, and he was drawing dead when the turn brought the {10-Clubs}. A meaningless {7-Hearts} completed the board, and Erbay was off to talk with a German reported about running his hand into quads.

A few hands later, Naujoks raised to 5,000 out of the small blind, and Scheidt raised to 11,000 in the big. Naujoks called, then led out for 10,000 on a flop of {9-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}. Scheidt raised to 24,500, and the Season 5 EPT Berlin Main Event winner folded.
