Nguyen Steam Rolling Table

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

We arrived at Khiem Nguyen's table to see three players including Nguyen and Matias Kesanen looking down at a flop of {6-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. A check prompted Kesanen to fire 45,000 into the middle. Nguyen made it 135,000 to go and the first player folded his hand. Kesanen stuck around.

The {4-Hearts} fell on fourth and Kesanen tapped the table. Nguyen cut out 185,000 and Kesanen went into the tank for quite some time. Eventually he decided that the best course of action was a fold and he guided his cards into the muck. Nguyen picked up the pot.

The next hand Nguyen opened to 32,000 before the flop from the hijack. From the next seat over, Yasar Guden made it 88,000 to go. Action came back around to Nguyen and he four-bet to 210,000. Guden wasted little time calling.

The two saw a flop of {9-Spades}{J-Clubs}{6-Hearts} fall onto the felt and Nguyen came out swinging with 180,000. Guden sat thinking for over a minute before finally slapping {A-Spades}{10-Spades} face up on the table, folding his cards in the process. Nguyen dragged in yet another sizable pot and is now sitting on 1.64 million in chips.
