The bubble having burst, action has picked up immediately following players' return from the break. Along with shenanigans.
Herve Santais was just now all in with his short stack against two opponents, Paul Guichard and Romeo Robert. The remaining two players were vying for the pot as the reached the turn with the board showing . Meanwhile, Santais had stood and even put on his coat, suggesting his chances of keeping his seat and surviving the hand were dim.
Guichard bet 15,000 on fourth street and Robert called, then both checked the river. Guichard showed , but his pair was beaten thanks to that river card as Robert tabled . Then with a bit of fanfare Santais revealed his cards one at a time… first the … then… the !
Santais had flopped the nut straight and rivered a flush. Needless to say, neither Guicard nor Robert appeared amused at the sight of Santais's hand. To be fair, we came on it in the middle and so can't say for sure whether or not Santais may have gone all in blind. In any case, he's now removed his coat and retaken his seat.

Shortly after he shoved with and was called by Walid Bou Habbib holding . The board ran out to make the latter trips.

The rat gnaws on as Lucien Cohen rivers the nut straight at EPT Deauville. Cohen is one of three former champs still in (at least we think so). Read the article at PokerStars Blog.
[Removed:237] just knocked out Claude Metais in the first of a spate of exits, Horni's A-K holding against the short stack's K-T.
Florian Ribouchon, on the same table as this action, knocked out PokerStars qualifier Roman Korenev with defeating on a board.
Finally, Karim Abdelmoumene's eliminated Mihai Manole, the latter's didn't stand a chance when the Frenchman flopped quads on a board.

Team PokerStars Pro Sandra Naujoks has been eliminated. Short-stacked, she moved all in preflop with and was called by Pascal Leyo with . The door card was an ace and although Naujoks picked up a gutshot, she couldn't hit it on the board.
This leaves Matthias De Meulder as the only remaining Team Pro still in the tournament.

Jean Julien Stempffer has just been spared elimination by a rather unlikely board.
Stempffer found himself all-in with against the pocket aces of Joseph El Khoury. Just as it looked like Stempffer was going to be heading to the exits, the board ran out to improve him to a straight. Easy game!
