Oh My God, They Killed Kenney

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Bryn Kenney came, and apparently he was eliminated in the first hand he played.

When we reached the table, {8-Hearts}{8-Spades} was laying where he was once sitting, the board was {6-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{k-Diamonds}, and an opponent with {10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} was raking in a massive pot. A third opponent lost a large portion of his stack with {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} as well.

We're not sure if Kenney will be reloading.

Mandavia Takes One

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Three players took a flop of {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, including Ankush Mandavia and Nicolas Levi. The action checked to Levi, who tossed out 900, and only Mandavia called.

The turn was the {10-Diamonds}, Mandavia checked again, and Levi fired another 1,700. Mandavia check-raised to 5,100, and Levi made the call.

The {10-Clubs} completed the board, Mandavia tossed out 9,300, and Levi tank-folded.

Levi Tax

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

After an open to 500, Faraz Jaka raised to 1,400 from the cutoff, Nicolas Levi cold-called on the button and the original raiser also called.

The {3-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Spades} flop was checked to Jaka who bet 1,800, Levi raised to 5,700 and the other player folded. Jaka thought for a moment then called to see the {4-Hearts} on the turn.

Jaka checked and Levi pushed out a 7,600 bet which Jaka again called to see the {5-Hearts} river. The latter checked a third time and Levi bet 11,000. Jaka took a couple of minutes this time, but made the call only to quickly muck when he saw the Frenchman's {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a flopped set.

John Eames Wins Again

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

John Eames wins the 'John Eames Invitational' at EPT London again. Quite frankly this is getting ridiculous. Mike Watson scored second place in a tough field. He should have known better than not to deal. Read more at the PokerStars Blog.

O'Brien Leaping Salman

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Dan O'Brien opened to 500 preflop and Salman Behbehani made it 1,500 in the seat next to him, O'Brien called to see a {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop.

It was checked to Behbehani who continued for 1,200 more but O'Brien called. Both players checked the {Q-Clubs} turn and the {A-Spades} river though Behbehani had thought about taking another stab on the end.

Behbehani flashed {3-Spades}{2-Spades} but O'Brien won with {J-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Silver Coolered, Eliminated

Level 1 : 100/200, 25 ante

Salman Behbehani and Max Silver were heads up on a board of {2-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Spades}. When we arrived at the table, Behbehani had 10,300 in front of him, and Silver basically min-raised. Behbehani moved all in for 55,375, and Silver immediately called.

Behbehani: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Silver: {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}

Silver needed to hit the case nine, but the turn and river bricked {4-Clubs}, {8-Clubs} respectively. Silver was left with just a few hundred chips, and Peter Jetten eliminated him soon after.
