Visser Gets it Back

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Not long after losing some to his fellow countryman Raoul Refos it was Ruben Visser who knocked a player out. Giuseppe Sammartino raised to 22,000 from the cutoff and Visser three-bet to 48,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Sammartino moved all in for around 300,000 chips. Visser made the call.

Giuseppe Sammartino: {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Ruben Visser: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

The board read out {5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and the Italian was knocked out. Visser is looking healthy again and is almost back to average.

Moorman Collects Silver Chips

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

You've got to win your races to win an EPT. Chris Moorman has done just that and left Steven Silverman on fumes.

Moorman opened to 20,000 from mid position and made a quick call when Silverman shoved from the big blind.

Silverman: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Moorman: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran {k-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} to make the Brit trips.

Daher Didn't Like Being on TV

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Albert Daher the double elimination on the TV table earlier the tournament had to be balanced. Daher was moved to there but didn't last long.

He committed the last of his chips with {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} and found a willing competitor in George Meitanis holding {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. The {7-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} board offered no help for Daher.

O'Shea Moves In

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

We just saw John O'Shea moved all in preflop and he got no action on his shove. There was a four-bet to 118,000 chips in the middle from Olof Haglund after which O'Shea moved all in. Haglund quickly folded and O'Shea picked up another pot.

Refos Doesn't Behave

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Raoul Refos raised to 20,000 preflop and Mantas Visockis three-bet to 45,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Refos four-bet to 85,000, Visockis called.

The flop brought out {K-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} and Refos checked to Visockis who quickly checked behind.

On the turn the {J-Hearts} showed up and Refos bet 37,000. Visockis called rather quickly and the board was completed with the {J-Diamonds}. Refos grabbed more chips and bet 105,000. Visockis went into the tank for quite some time but eventually he decided to fold.

As soon as Visockis' cards hit the muck Refos turned over {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and people both on and around the table started smiling.

"Just behave Raoul," Ruben Visser said laughing in Dutch to his fellow countryman as Refos said that he just liked it a lot. There's a lot of smiling and bluffing going on on Table 2 while we're also still playing for a lot of money!

Mercier Will Settle For that

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Watch out, watch out: a man called Jason Mercier is about.

The Team PokerStars Pro managed to double up through Max Greenwood just before the break.

Greenwood opened to 23,000 and then moved all in when Mercier three-bet to 52,000 from the small blind. Mercier snap called and the cards were on their backs.

Greenwood: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Mercier: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The board ran {5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} to make Mercier a set. Just as well too seeing as the river came an ace.
