Visser Gets Two Streets of Value from Jorgensen

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ruben Visser managed to get two streets of value out of Theo Jorgensen to close the gap between the two.

Visser opened to 27,000 from the hijack and was only called by the Team PokerStars Pro from the next seat.

Visser continued for 30,000 on the {9-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop and Jorgensen called. The turn came {8-Spades} and Visser fired again for 68,000. Call.

Both players checked the {10-Spades} river and Visser opened {a-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Jorgensen folded.

O'Shea on The Rise

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

John O'Shea was really short but he's all the way back in it after doubling up twice. First he moved all in for 101,000 from the hijack and Niall Farrell called from the cutoff.

John O'Shea: {Q-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Niall Farrell: {A-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades} and O'Shea caught a lucky break. A few hands later he was seated in the big blind and Team PokerStars Pro Jason Mercier put him all in from the small. O'Shea looked down at his cards and called off his stack worth 228,000 chips.

Jason Mercier: {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
John O'Shea: {K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and O'Shea managed to dodge the legion of outs his opponent had. Both Mercier and Farrell drop down a little while O'Shea is back up with over half the average.

Jorgensen Shows His Tricks

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Raoul Refos made a beautiful bluff just before the break and Team PokerStars Pro Theo Jorgensen just showed that he's also capable of making big moves. The action started on Refos who raised under the gun to 24,000 and both Pasi Sumonen and Ruben Visser made the call. Jorgensen was next to act from the big blind and he three-bet to 80,000.

The action was now on the initial raiser who made it 174,000 total. Both Sumonen and Visser quickly folded and Jorgensen made the call after some tanking.

The flop brought {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and after Jorgensen had checked it was Refos who calmly bet 110,000. Jorgensen went in the tank for a long time but then moved all in. His total shove was for 485,000 and Refos sighed as he tanked and ultimately folded.

Jorgensen turned over {7-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for a huge bluff, even though he had middle pair, and the Danish pro took down this huge pot.

Visser Gives One Up

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

After a raise to 26,000 from Daniel Erlandsson it was Ruben Visser who called in position and Raoul Refos from the blinds. The flop ran out {4-Spades}{J-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and Visser was the only player to call Erlandsson's continuation bet.

On the turn the {6-Hearts} hit and Erlandsson bet 75,000, Visser called once more.

The river was the {4-Hearts} and the Swede fired again. This time he bet 120,000 and Visser decided to give it up after some tanking.

Carson Crippled then Busts; Moorman on a Charge

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Russell Carson was eliminated by Rory Mathews in 26th place but the real damage was done by Chris Moorman.

There was an early position raise that Carson called from the small blind before Moorman squeezed from the big blind. The raiser folded but Carson four-bet and called when Moorman shoved.

Moorman: {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}
Carson: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board ran {2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Spades}.

That left Carson really short and he moved in from under the gun. Mathews was in the small blind and he raised to isolate.

Carson: {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Mathews: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

The board ran {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Hearts}.

Mercier Double Dream Over

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Jason Mericer's double EPT dream is over after a flush draw failed to come in for him.

The Team PokerStars Pro and Bassel Moussa took to a {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop where all the chips went in. Mercier had less, post flop, with 352,000 and was the player at risk.

Moussa: {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}
Mercier: {a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

The board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} to make Moussa a set. No club came in for Mercier and he was taken of the the pay out desk.

Jorgensen Trips into the Lead

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Theo Jorgensen was the victor in a three-way pot and that saw him break through the two million barrier.

He opened to 27,000 early position and was called by Mantas Visockis before Pasi Sormunen three-bet to 62,000 from the big blind. Both players called to the {9-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop where they called a 125,000 c-bet.

It was the Team PokerStars Pro who took up the betting reigns on the {9-Spades} turn; his 200,000 bet was called by both opponents. All three checked the {7-Clubs} river.

Sormunen said he had two pair but both his opponent's had trip nines. Jorgensen opened {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} beating out Visockis' {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}.
