The Schemion Shuffle

Level 16 : 15,000/30,000, 4,000 ante

Hand #10: Ole Schemion raised to 72,000 from the cutoff with the {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} and Richard Yong, who likes to defend, called from the big blind with the {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. The {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop was kind to Yong, but he checked to the raiser, who checked behind.

The dealer then burned and turned the {Q-Hearts} to give Schemion a set and leave Yong drawing dead, though he didn't know it. Yong checked, Schemion bet 105,000, and Yong called. Yong checked for a third time on the {9-Hearts} river, and Schemion bet it for value to the tune of 266,000. Yong made the call and watched a good portion of his stack pushed over to the German wunderkind.
