Kurganov At Risk Once Again

Level 22 : 60,000/120,000, 20,000 ante

Hand #155: Dan Cates called from the button with the {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} and Daniel Colman called from the small bling with the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Igor Kurganov checked his option from the big with the {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}, and then all three players checked the {6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. The {6-Hearts} turn saw Colman lead out for 240,000, Kurganov called, and Cates folded. When the {2-Spades} completed the board on the river, Colman kept the pressure on with a bet of 540,000, and Kurganov folded the best hand.

Hand #156: Dan Colman, who held the {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, and Dan Cates, who had the {j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, saw a flop of {5-Hearts}{10-Spades}{5-Spades}, and Catescheck-called a bet of 250,000. The {4-Spades} appeared on the turn, which they both checked, and that was followed by the {2-Diamonds} river. Cates led out for 675,000, and Colman folded his hand.

Hand #157: Daniel Colman got a walk in the big blind.

Hand #158: Daniel Colman moved all in from the small blind with the {a-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Igor Kurganov called off for 1.165 million in the big blind with the {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}. Kurganov was behind, but he was drawing to two live cards. The {9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop actually made Kurganov a 58% favorite with straight and flush draws to go with his live cards, and he made the straight when the {10-Hearts} hit the turn. The {4-Diamonds} was put out on the river and Kurganov was shipped the double.
