Trickett Can't Beat King-Seven

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

David Peters opened under the gun for 2,700 and Sam Trickett right next to him was the sole caller.

Both players checked the {8-Spades}{J-Clubs}{K-Hearts}-flop. The {2-Hearts} came on the turn and Peters bet out 5.200. Trickett made the call. The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Peters now bet 13,000.

Trickett pondered for a little bit; "You have queens?" he asked. Peters didn't react. Trickett eventually made the call, but mucked as Peters showed {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Bensadoun Busto

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

[Removed:119] was all in and at risk when Govert Metaal called him.

Bensadoun tabled {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and need to hit the board when Metaal showed him the {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}.

A final run out though of {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} was no good to him and he was busted from the high roller.

Rettenmaier Eliminated

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Marvin Rettenmaier's seat was empty and Dominik Nitsche informed us what had happened.

Rettenmaier, who started the hand with about 22,000, opened from early position with {A-Diamonds}{A-} and had received two callers; Jeremey Ausmus on the button and Haralabos Voulgaris in the small blind.

The flop came {K-}{J-}{9-} with two diamonds and Voulgaris checked. Rettenmaier made a continuation bet and Ausmus raised. Voulgaris got out of the way but Rettenmaier and Ausmus got all the chips in the middle.

Ausmus had flopped the nuts with {Q-}{10-} but wasn't entirely safe just yet. The {J-Diamonds} on the turn gave Rettenmaier both flush and full house outs, but the river didn't materialize either and sent Rettenmaier packing.

Blom Short and Shoving

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Max Silver opened the betting and Artem Litvinov made the call. Viktor Blom then moved all in for a sub 30k stack. Silver was short too and mused it over but Bloms shove got through.

A short while later Blom opened for 2,400 and it was Silver who shoved and picked up the pot.

Next it was Ariel Celestino’s turn to open and then fold to a Blom shove.

The next few hands though saw Blom folding.

Mateos River Shove Called

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Pascal Lefrancois had bet 11,500 on the river of a board showing {5-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and Adrian Mateos moved all in.

It looked like a bit of a puzzler for Lefrancois who looked like he was wishing for a different river card. It was Mateos who was the player at risk however and Lefrancois finally said, “Call.”

“Call?” asked Mateos plaintively and turned over {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}. The {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} of Lefrancois was good.

Schemion Wins A Small One

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Anatoly Gurtovoy bet out 4,500 on {7-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{7-Spades} and one player folded before action was on Ole Schemion. Schemion, who was knocked out earlier today but bought back in, made the call. The {J-Clubs} on the turn made Gurtovoy check. Schemion bet out 5,800 and Gurtovoy made the call. Gurtovoy checked again on the {A-Hearts}-river and Schemion bet 12,400 with 15,800 behind. Gurtovoy thought about it for a little bit before folding.

Esfandiari Can't Even Beat A Full House

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Pascal Lefrancois opened under the gun for 2,500 and next to him Antonio Esfandiari made the call. All other players folded and they were heads up to the flop: {5-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

Lefrancois bet out 3,000 and Esfandiari made the call. The turn brought another jack to the table ({J-Hearts}) and Lefrancois checked. Esfandiari made a 5,400 bet and Lefrancois called. The river came the {8-Clubs} and both players checked.

Lefrancois tabled {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Esfandiari mucked.
