Garbarino Doubles Through Berglund

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Stefano Garbarino opened under the gun for 25,000 and received no less than four callers. Lukas Berglund on the button, Dinesh Alt from the small blind and Jeffrey Hakim in the big blind all came along.

Action checked to Berglund on a {J-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} flop. The Swedish player made a 45,000 bet and both Alt and Garbarino called, Hakim folded.

Alt checked again on the {A-Clubs} turn but Garbarino did something different. He lead out for 110,000 and Berglund shoved allin. Alt quickly folded, Garbarino called just as quickly.

Lukas Berglund: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Stefano Garbarino: {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Garbarino was a nine to one favorite to double up, and did just that with the {3-Spades} on the river.

Kravchenko Eliminates Tureniec

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Michael Tureniec
Michael Tureniec

Alex Kravchenko opened the button for 25,000 and got a call from Andreas Goeller in the small blind. Michael Tureniec in the big blind squeezed to 93,000 and Kravchenko made it 300,000. Goeller folded, Tureniec moved allin for a little more and Kravchenko made the call. It all went very quick and we just got there, so we might have made a mistake with the amount of chips everyone raised, but the action was like that.

Kravchenko opened {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds} while Tureniec had {A-Spades}{K-Spades}. The board would eventually consist of just blanks for Tureniec: {Q-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Michael Tureniec departs in 26th place (€15,130), 25 remain.
