Hands 37-38: Warburton Shoves on Juanda on the Final Hand
Hand #37: From the button Rainer Kempe raised to 240,000 and he raked in the pot.
Hand #38: Andreas Samuelsson raised to 260,000 under the gun plus two and Steve Warburton three-bet to 590,000 on the button. John Juanda pulled the trigger from the big blind, making 1,220,000 and the action was now back on Samuelsson who eventually folded.
Warburton did not take too long before moving all in, and the pressure was now on Juanda.
Juanda asked for a count, and almost immediately he found out that a call would be for his tournament life. Juanda had 4,040,000 left behind.
"You got it, huh?" Juanda said with a wry smile.
In the mean time Warburton, with a smile, picked up the all-in triangle and showed it to his friends on the rail.
"You look so confident," Juanda said, "You even took off your glasses."
"It's quite hot here," Warburton responded.
"It is what it is, John," Warburton said after a while.
"Do you want to finish ninth?" Warburton asked.
"You either have a very strong hand, or you are a very good talker," Juanda said, as he folded his cards after seven minutes in the tank.
"Obviously I have a very good hand, I just put five million chips into the pot," Warburton laughed.
"Just show it," Juanda said, but Warburton mucked his cards on the last hand of the night.
