After the eliminations of Jonas Lauck and Diego Venture, the 2015 European Poker Tour Barcelona €5,300 Main Event has been cut down to its final 248 players. That means the event is now on the bubble with the top 247 places set to be paid out.
Anastasios Vrakas was all in and at risk before the flop for approximately 138,000 against Dmitry Yurasov. The two sat with their cards face down for well over five minutes while they waited for other hands around the room to come to completion. When the tournament staff made their way to the table and announced for the hands to be turned on their backs, Vrakas was disappointed to find that he was behind and in need of improvement.

The board ran out , keeping Yurasov's ace-king high in the lead. Vrakas was sent to the rail as the last player to leave the tournament room with a payday. The remaining 247 players are all guaranteed at least €8,800.
On the very first hand after the bubble burst Alejandro Perez Torres was all in for his tournament life worth just a few big blinds. Torres was up against Matthew Volosevich, and the showdown went as following.

Govert Metaal first doubled when he shoved for 35,500 over a 11,000 open from Stefanita Fechete. Fechete called with but lost to Metaal's . The board read and Metaal doubled to just under 80,000.
He made it 13,000 under the gun not much later. Fatima Moreira de Melo shoved all in from the button and both blinds folded, Metaal called.

The board ran out and Moreira de Melo, while cursing Metaal out with a big smile and lots of laughs, made her way to the exit. That'll be some editing work for the tv production crew again, in need of some beeping.
Mikhail Petrov was all in before the flop against Vadzim Markushevski. Petrov was at risk for his last 51,500 and in need of some help.

The flop came out , pairing Petrov's ten and giving him the lead in the hand. Ultimately, Petrov ended up making a flush with the on the turn and the on the river in order to stay alive in the Main Event. Petrov now has about 110,000 while Markushevski has been crippled to 30,000.
Andries Swart was all in for what looked to be just under 100,000 against Frederik Jensen. The two turned their cards over to find that Swart was in need of improvement on the community cards.

The board came down , keeping Jensen's cowboys in the lead. Swart made his way to the rail while Jensen increased his stack to about 365,000.
A short-stacked Frederic Bertrand was all in and at risk for approximately 40,000 against Daniel Carlsson. The hands were revealed to find Carlsson in a dominating position.
