Altergott Crippled

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #96: Charlie Carrel raised to 125,000 from the cutoff and won the pot.

Hand #97: Carrel raised to 125,000 under the gun and Imad Derwiche called from the big blind. When the flop came down {8-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}, Derwiche moved all in and Carrel folded.

Hand #98: Max Altergott raised to 125,000 under the gun and Carrel called from the big blind to see a flop of {6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}. Carrel check-called a bet of 125,000, and then check-called one of 250,000 on the {7-Clubs} turn. Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} river and Carrel showed the {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a flopped pair. It was no longer good though as Altergott had gotten there on the river with the {10-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

Hand #99: Altergott received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #100: Steve O'Dwyer raised to 150,000 under the gun and Andrey Andreev called from the big blind. Both players checked the {10-Clubs}{6-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop, and then Andreev bet 300,000 on the {5-Hearts} turn. O'Dwyer called and the same action repeated itself on the {7-Diamonds} river. Andreev tabled the {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and O'Dwyer mucked.

Hand #101: Derwiche moved all in under the gun and won the pot.

Hand #102: Altergott raised to 125,000 from the cutoff and was met by a three-bet to 340,000 by O'Dwyer in the small blind. Altergott responded by moving all in and O'Dwyer called off for 1.52 million total.

O'Dwyer: {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Altergott: {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}

It was a big flip, and the {k-Spades}{2-Spades}{10-Hearts} flop delivered Altergott a gutshot, and the {9-Spades} turn gave him added flush outs. There were a lot of cards that Altergott could hit on the river, but the {5-Hearts} that appeared was not one of them. With that, Altergott sent the vast majority of his chips over to O'Dwyer.
