Vogelsang Getting Short

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Christoph Vogelsang, the German who made the $1,000,000 Big One for One Drop tournament his first ever WSOP tournament to play (and cash), is getting short. He registered late today, and is already down to 13,400.

We just saw him bet 3,500 into a 12,500 pot with the board displaying {A-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{K-Spades}. Artur Koren in the cutoff tanked for a bit, and called with {A-Spades}{9-Hearts} for top pair. Vogelsang tabled {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} and mucked those soon after.

Just to keep you entertained, here's a short clip of Vogelsang in action at last years WSOP:
