Soika Gets Some

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mukul Pahuja raised to 90,000 as first to act and Ihar Soika defended his big blind to see the heads-up flop of {2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}. Soika checked and then check-raised successfully to 265,000 once Pahuja had fired a continuation bet worth 85,000. Pahuja was not willing to continue the hand and gave up the pot.

Friends Don't Bluff

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mukul Pahuja limped from the small blind and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau checked his option in the big blind. On the flop {J-Spades}{J-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, both players contributed another 50,000 chips to the pot and Pahuja then checked the {K-Spades} on the turn. Vaskaboinikau bet 65,000 and Pahuja folded to get a "why no bluff my friend?" from his table neighbor.

Soika Folds to Five-Bet Jam

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Ihar Soika raised to 80,000 as first to act and Mukul Pahuja three-bet to 195,000 from one seat over on the button. Soika had the dealer verify the reraising amount and then thought about his next move for two minutes. Soika then squeezed to 475,000 and Pahuja wasted little time before putting his opponent all in to enforce a snap fold.

Ihar Soika Eliminated in 4th Place (€165,800)

Ihar Soika

Ihar Soika limped in from the small blind and Mukul Pahuja checked his option in the big. The flop came {3-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and Soika got a check-raise in that did not shake Pahuja.

The turn came the {q-Hearts} and a bet of 325,000 from Soika. Pahuja flatted and the river came the {4-Spades}. Soika pushed all in and Pahuja snap-called with the {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for two pair.

Soika had two pair himself, but the {7-Spades}{3-Spades} wasn't good enough as he exited fourth and Pahuja took a healthy chip lead into three-handed play.

Pahuja Enlarges Lead

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mukul Pahuja raised to 90,000 from the button and Byron Kaverman called in the big blind to check the flop {10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. Kaverman checked and then folded to the 80,000-continuation bet of Pahuja.

Shortly after, Kaverman limped in from the small blind and Pahuja checked his option. The flop came {9-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} and Kaverman bet 40,000, which was called by Pahuja. On the {6-Diamonds} turn, Kaverman fired 105,000 and again Pahuja tossed in the chips for the call.

The {4-Spades} river completed the board and now Kaverman slowed down and checked. Pahuja bet 245,000 and Kaverman spent some time in the think tank before making the call. Pahuja flipped over his {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs} for two pair and that won the pot.

Three-Way Action

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Mukul Pahuja made it 90,000 from the button and both Mikalai Vaskaboinikau and Byron Kaverman called.

The flop came {a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and it checked around. The turn was the {a-Clubs} and Vaskaboinikau led for 55,000. Kaverman called before Pahuja raised it up to 160,000. Only Vaskaboinikau called.

The river was the {10-Hearts} and Vaskaboinikau immediately threw out a bet of 75,000. Pahuja called with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} and his trips were good over Vaskaboinikau's {j-}{9-} two pair.

The Chips Circulate

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Byron Kaverman raised to 90,000 from the button and Mikalai Vaskaboinikau defended his big blind to see a flop of {J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Spades} that got checked through. On the {3-Spades} turn, Vaskaboinikau led for 90,000 and was called before both players checked the {K-Diamonds} river. The Belorussian showed {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for top pair on the river and won the pot.

Kaverman limped the small blind and Pahuja raised to 125,000. Kaverman called and a continuation bet of the chip leader on the flop {7-Spades}{A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} did the trick to scoop the pot.

Kaverman raised to 90,000 from the button and Vaskaboinikau defended his big blind once more. Both players check the flop {4-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Vaskaboinikau bet 100,000 and Kaverman called before the Belorussian splashed randomly grabbed T-25,000 chips on the {J-Spades} river for a bet of 300,000. Kaverman folded and fell down to 1.22 million chips.

Pahuja then raised to 90,000 from the button and Kaverman called out of the big blind. On the flop {9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}, Kaverman check-raised from 105,000 to 325,000 and Pahuja folded.

Last but not least, Vaskaboinikau raised to 90,000 from the button and Pahuja defended to check-call a continuation bet worth 90,000 on the flop {9-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Pahuja fired the {J-Spades} turn for 185,000 and claimed the pot.
