Brian Roberts Bubbles

Brian Roberts bubbles EPT 12 Malta €10,000 High Roller 2015

Brian Roberts moved all in for his last 6,000 chips from early position and Sean Winter in the small blind as well as Roberto Romanello in the big blind stayed in the hand. On the flop {K-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, Romanello bet 20,000 to isolate and they waited for the other hands to finish before proceeding with the showdown.

Romanello: {5-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}
Roberts: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The {J-Hearts} turn gave Roberts four more outs, but the {2-Spades} river was a blank to let the bubble burst eventually after what appears to have been two hours in total.

Adrian Mateos Eliminated in 33rd Place

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Adrian Mateos
Adrian Mateos

The field has been reduced to 32 players and they are currently getting balanced on the last four tables.

Bryn Kenney raised to 13,000 from the button and Adrian Mateos three-bet to 40,000 in the small blind. Kenney then shoved for an effective 240,000 and Mateos called to set up a flip.

Mateos: {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts}
Kenney: {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}

The flop {Q-Spades}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} improved Kenney to a pair of queens and the {10-Clubs} turn changed nothing whatsoever. The {A-Diamonds} river sent the start-of-the-day chip leader to the rail just shy of the money and the action will now continue with hand for hand mode on the bubble.

Wheeler Falls Off

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Jason Wheeler
Jason Wheeler

Jason Wheeler had just opened to 13,500 and folded to a big three-bet behind.

So when he opened to 13,500 from under the gun, and Roberto Romanello cut out a 29,500-chip three-bet, he didn't look like he was folding again.

Wheeler promptly shoved and got the bad news when Romanello insta-called with {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

Wheeler's chance at a third consecutive High Roller final table in Malta was riding on the thin hopes of {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} and he missed altogether on a board of {7-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Brandi Burns Through Stack; Massive Double for Troyanovskiy

Level 15 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante
Vladimir Troyanovskiy
Vladimir Troyanovskiy

Vladimir Troyanovskiy raised to 11,000 and Iacopo Brandi three-bet to 31,000 from two seats over. Troyanovskiy then four-bet to 75,500 and Brandi tanked for three minutes before announcing all in. Troyanovskiy snap-called for around 325,000 in chips and Brandi had made a move at the worst possible time.

Brandi: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Troyanovskiy: {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}

The board ran out {2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{A-Diamonds} and the former big stack of Brandi had suddenly been cut down by almost two third.

Cruel Five Minutes for Poker Germany

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Julian Stuer
Julian Stuer

Both Julian Stuer and Pascal Hartmann have been eliminated within a matter of minutes.

Stuer was first to go in a big pot against Mukul Pahuja after raising the button for 9,000 and getting called by Pahuja. On the flop {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}, Pahuja check-called a bet of 12,000 and the {K-Clubs} came on the turn. Pahuja check-raised from 32,000 to 78,000 and Stuer called before the {8-Diamonds} fell on the river.

Pahuja jammed with 130,000 remaining and Stuer called with the {J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} only to see his opponent flip over {8-Spades}{4-Spades} for a full house.

Hartmann's chips went to Bryn Kenney. He defended his big blind and they checked down the flop {Q-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Spades}. On the {4-Hearts} turn, Hartmann check-called a delayed continuation bet worth 17,000 and then check-raised all in after the {2-Hearts} on the river. The {A-Hearts}{8-Hearts} of the German found an unlucky timing to make the nut flush, as Kenney had rivered the full house with {4-Clubs}{4-Spades} to scoop the pot.

Sahamies Busts to Badziakouski

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Ilari Sahamies
Ilari Sahamies

Sylvain Loosli raised to 7,000 and Vladimir Troyanovskiy called before the action reached Ilari Sahamies. He moved all in for 99,300 in total and the action then folded around to Mikita Badziakouski. The Belorussian shoved for slightly more and that got folds from Loosli and Troyanovskiy.

Sahamies: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Badziakouski: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The board ran out {3-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and the €10,000 Single-Day High Roller runner-up joined the rail.

Dzmitry Urbanovich
Dzmitry Urbanovich

EPT phenomena Dzmitry Urbanovich raised from early position and was called by [Removed:17] and a third player. Yan looked him up with the superior {K-Spades}{J-Spades} and the one outer didn't come, instead the {3-Spades} river changed nothing whatsoever.
