Hands #8-12: Kornuth Has a Good Read

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #8: Action folded to Keith Johnson on the button and he raised it up. In the small blind, Mustapha Kanit three-bet and Charlie Carrel in the big blind folded right away. Johnson folded as well, and we'll never know what as a technical problem prevented graphics from being displayed.

Hand #9: Jeff Rossiter received a walk in the big blind.

Because of a problem with the graphics, the live stream was on an unscheduled break for about 5 minutes.

Hand #10: Under the gun, Anton Bertilsson raised to 120,000 holding {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}. On the button, Charlie Carrel found {7-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and asked how much Bertilsson was playing behind (around 3.5 million). Carrel then three-bet to 325,000 and action folded to Bertilsson. The Swedish qualifier thought about it for a bit before he folded.

"Where you got those glasses?" Carrel asked.

"On some holiday in France" Bertilsson answered.

Chance Kornuth then smiled and asked the rhetorical question if anyone had ever asked a question that changed the subject after having had a value hand.

"You're gonna look really smart in an hour" Carrel said with a smile.

Hand #11: Action folded to Chance Kornuth in the small blind and he folded his {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, giving Bertilsson a walk with {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}.

Hand #12: Action folded again to Anton Bertilsson and he had ace-six again. With {A-Clubs}{6-Spades} he raised to 150,000 and Keith Johnson in the big blind called with {A-Spades}{3-Clubs}.

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} pairing both. Bertilsson bet 150,000 and Johnson called.

The {7-Diamonds} on the turn brought a third diamond and paired the board. Bertilsson checked and was followed by Johnson who bet 275,000 into the 660,000 pot. Bertilsson made the call.

The {6-Clubs} paired Bertilsson but it meant they chopped the pot after both players checked.
