Seidel Doubles With Aces

Level 15 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

In the first hand back from break, Erik Seidel opened to 53,000 and then folded to the shove of Igor Kurganov in the blinds. The Russian put his last 344,000 chips in and Seidel folded.

Exactly one hand later, Seidel opened to 53,000 again and Byron Kaverman took his time before announcing all in from the small blind. Seidel snap-called and the two best pocket pairs in No Limit Hold'em clashed.

Seidel: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Kaverman: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

"Same suits, that's good for ... someone," Ole Schemion said when walking over and witnessing the showdown.

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Spades}{6-Spades} and Seidel doubled for 432,000, leaving Kaverman desperately short.
