Hands #20-22: Kurganov Doubles

Level 19 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #20: Mustapha Kanit raised to 160,000 from the small blind with the {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Stephen Chidwick defended the big blind with the {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}. The flop fell {6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} and Kanit led for 140,000. Chidwick called with a gutshot, and the {6-Hearts} turn paired the board.

Kanit bet 385,000 and Chidwick folded.

Hand #21: Ali Reza Fatehi made it 175,000 with the {q-Spades}{q-Hearts} and picked up the blinds and antes.

Hand #22: Igor Kurganov woke up with the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} under the gun and made it 120,000.

Ali Reza Fatehi three-bet to 240,000 with the {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and when it folded back to Kurganov, he pushed.

Fatehi snap-called and a {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{8-Spades} board ensured Kurganov would double up through the chip leader.
