Mattsson and Scholten Eliminated

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Simon Mattsson
Simon Mattsson

"Okay I call," Armando Collado announced after Simon Mattsson's stack of 120,000 was in the middle of the table and it was a big flip for the Swede.

Simon Mattsson: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Armando Collado: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Mattsson was eliminated, while Collado was all smiles with the words "the ladies like me."

Soon after, Freek Scholten open-shoved his last 25,000 from early position and Stephen Chidwick called in the big blind. Scholten had {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Chidwick the {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}. The board delivered a queen and a ten, but the {10-Hearts} on the river was the fourth heart and that completed a flush for Chidwick.

Clicking Buttons

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Hari Bercovici raised to 6,500 and Kacper Pyzara clicked to 10,500 before both went out of the way after a four-bet to 26,000 by Theo Jorgensen.

Pyzara got his chips worth back soon after by forcing a fold from table neighbor Jyri Merivirta. The Finn had checked the {A-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs} turn and pyzara bet 28,000 to force a fold.

One table over, Stefan Jedlicka opened to 9,500 in the small blind and Diego Zeiter three-bet to 24,000 in the big blind. jedlicka made it 40,000 to go and Zeiter quickly folded.

Kozlovs Gets Paid Off by Stephensen

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

On a board of {5-Spades}{A-Clubs}{7-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} a shortstacked Martin Kozlov put his remaining 26,500 over the betting line in a hand against Felix Stephensen. Stephensen wasn't thrilled with the situation but ended up calling anyway.

Kozlov turned over the {A-Spades}{J-Spades} for top pair, and that enough to secure the double.

Kitai Waves Goodbye

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Davidi Kitai
Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai had previously shoved his short stack without getting called, but the second attempt to spin up the 13 big blinds failed. Stephen Chidwick looked him up and the Belgian had a flip for his tournament life.

Davidi Kitai: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}
Stephen Chidwick: {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs}

The flop came {J-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and nothing much changed, but Chidwick picked up a gutshot on top of his two over cards with the {Q-Spades} turn. The {10-Clubs} river indeed completed the straight and Kitai was gone.

More for Egues

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Some 45,000 were in the middle with the board reading {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Pierre Neuville bet 17,000 from under the gun. Cristian Egues on the button glanced over at his opponent and eventually raised to 40,000. Neuville asked for the amount once, but let go soon after to give up the hand.

Jattin Lets it Go Against Stephensen

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Felix Stephensen opened up the action preflop with a raise to 7,000 from under the gun, before Jattin in the very next seat reraised to 15,000. Both Finger in the hijack and Schemion in the small blind seemed very interested but ultimately decided to let it go, and when the action was back on Stephensen he called.

Flop came down {7-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{Q-Spades}, and Stephensen check-called the 13,500 from Jattin before the {K-Spades} hit on the turn. Both players checked through to the river, which was revealed to be the {10-Diamonds}.

Stephensen cut out 45,000 and slid them over the line, which put Jattin into the tank. He played around with his chips for a while before finally mucking, awarding the pot the former November Niner.

Lakhov's Overbet Works

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

It started rather innocent with a raise by Stefan Jedlicka and a call from Alexander Lakhov in the blinds. On the {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} flop, Lakhov checked, Jedlicka continued for 9,000 and then faced a check-raise to 26,000. Jedlicka called and the {5-Clubs} fell on the turn.

Lakhov almost immediately announced all in for around 195,000 and that had Jedlicka covered. It took around half a minute and Jedlicka folded.
