Schulz Doubles Off Bujtas With Big Slick

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a preflop raising war, Robert Schulz announced he was all in for 196,000 and was promptly called by Laszlo Bujtas.

Schulz: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Bujtas: {A-}{10-}

Schulz was well ahead when the money got in before the flop and his lead was further solidified after a king appeared on the {2-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} flop to give him top pair. Bujtas was drawing dead after the {6-Spades} appeared on the turn despite also pairing up when the {10-Clubs} completed the board on the river.

Butjas is the middle of the pack again with around 240,000 while Schulz holds one of the bigger stacks in the room with a chip stack of 410,000.

Stern Eliminated, Gruissem Escapes

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante
Ofer Zvi Stern
Ofer Zvi Stern

Ofer Zvi Stern was all in when we got to his table, having been called in three spots. The blinds checked to Philipp Gruissem on the {8-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Diamonds} flop. He bet 16,000 into the pot of around 40,000, and Martin Kabrhel came along from the big blind. Kabrhel came out betting small with 15,000 on the {5-Spades} turn, and Gruissem called this time. On the {k-Hearts} river, Kabrhel thought awhile and moved all in. Gruissem had about 80,000 left.

After a couple of minutes, Kabrhel softly said, "Time please."

Gruissem protested, saying he hadn't really thought that long. A player piped up in agreement and the clock was tabled for the moment. About three minutes later, Kabrhel asked for the clock again. Gruissem decided to fold, and Kabrhel showed {q-Spades}{j-Spades} for a flush. Stern had {a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, and Gruissem celebrated, saying he folded a king.

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

After a raise by Klas Lofberg from the cutoff, Josip Vidovic three-bet to 26,000 on the button and Lofberg then moved all in when the action folded back to him. Vidovic quickly called and the cards were tabled.

Klas Lofberg: {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Josip Vidovic: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}

The board came {J-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{J-Hearts} and the stacks were counted. Vidovic had 141,000 and Lofberg had less than that to join the rail.

The Chips Stay in Russia

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Denis Pisarev shoved for around 40,000 from the small blind and fellow countryman Anton Afanasyev in the big blind called.

Denis Pisarev: {K-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}
Anton Afanasyev: {A-Spades}{8-Hearts}

Both Russians spoke a few words in their language and smiled, and after a board of {A-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}, Pisarev quickly pushed his stack over to Afanasyev. He wished the Russian good luck, they shook hands and Pisarev headed to the payout desk.

Kuo and Wong Eliminated

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Right after coming back from the break, Robert Gill raised from under the gun and called the shove of Kitty Kuo in the big blind.

Kuo showed the {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, Gill had that beat with {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}. The flop of {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} gave Kuo a flush draw, but neither the {5-Clubs} turn nor the {J-Diamonds} river were both blanks.

At the same time, Jerry Wong busted on the feature table.
