Obreshkov Bests Cerknevik With Bluff

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Stoyan Obreshkov and Tim Cerkvenik saw a {4-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} flop for the minimum. Obreshkov led for 40,000 and Cerkvenik made it 110,000. Obreshkov came back with 240,000 after some thought, and Cerkvenik let it go eventually.

Obreshkov waggled a finger at his neighbor and showed {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

Salvatore Bonavena Eliminated in 24th Place (€27,200)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Salvatore Bonavena
Salvatore Bonavena

Salvatore Bonavena raised the action to 65,000 from early position before Sergei Petrushevskii called from the button.

The action went heads-up to the {Q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} flop, which both players checked. Bonavena bet 105,000 when the {9-Hearts} hit the turn, which Petrushevskii called. The board completed with the {10-Diamonds} on the river and Bonavena checked. Petrushevskii thought for a minute before jamming all in for 1,100,000, which had Bonavena's remaining stack of 405,000 covered.

Bonavena quickly called and turned over {k-}{q-}, which was dominated by his opponent's {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for a set. Bonavena was the last remaining prior EPT Main Event champ and was eliminated in 24th place for €27,200.

With EPT 13 Prague being the last EPT in history, Victoria Coren Mitchell will remain in the record books for being the only two-time EPT Main Event Winner.

Kent Roed Eliminated in 23rd Place (€34,630)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Kent Roed
Kent Roed

Kent Roed defended his big blind from a Stefan Fabian raise then bet out on a {7-Spades}{a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop. Fabian called and then called again when Roed pushed for about 300,000 on the {k-Clubs} turn.

Roed: {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Fabian: {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}

There wasn't a card in the deck that could save Roed, and the meaningless river was a {2-Diamonds}.

Peters Shoves Against Ramos and Extends Lead

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Felipe Ramos raised from the button to 65,000. Gang Wang folded from the small blind before David Peters went all in for 4,275,000 from the big blind. Ramos, with 765,000 behind thought for a minute before he folded.

Tim Cerkvenik Eliminated in 22nd Place (€34,630)

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante
Tim Cerkvenik
Tim Cerkvenik

Tim Cerkvenik opened in the cutoff and called when Kiryl Radzivonau put him all in from the big blind for about 600,000.

Cerkvenik: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Radzivonau: {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Cerkvenik's jacks were still a hair ahead after the {2-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop but he was in a lot of danger against a flush draw and an overcard. The turn was a {7-Diamonds}, and that was all for Cerkvenik as he had no way of beating the nut flush.

Nobody Wants to Gamble With Gang Wang

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Marius Gierse min-raised from early position to 60,000. The action folded around to Gang Wang in the big blind who went all in for 605,000 and Gierse folded.

Martin Kabrhel, who was giving Gang Wang a hard time earlier for pushing all in with a hand against him, told Wang, "Gamble, yeah? Nobody wants to gamble with you."

Delahunty Doubles Again

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Darren Delahunty shoved for 325,000 under the gun, and Jasper Meijer Van Putten put him at risk from the button.

Meijer Van Putten: {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}
Delahunty: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}

Things got sweaty for Delahunty after {8-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades} flopped to give Meijer Van Putten a double-gutter. The {j-Diamonds} further hurt his cause since many cards would now chop for Meijer Van Putten, but a {3-Clubs} was a blank on the river.
