Sammartino Jams River

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Dario Sammartino was on the button and bet small with 5,500 on a board of {5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, with 15,000 or so in the pot. His opponent in the cutoff called and they saw a {4-Clubs} river. The cutoff checked and Sammartino wasted little time before tossing in enough to put his neighbor at risk for 14,000. That player folded pretty quickly.

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the {5-Hearts} turn, Sow faced a bet of 5,300. He responded with an all-in shove for 20,100 effective but he got snap-called by {q-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

Sow had {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and could only shake his head and ship the double when the {4-Diamonds} hit the river.

A player had raised to 2,000 and Dario Sammartino just called. Bap de Haas was in the seat next to Sammartino and he three-bet to 11,500 leaving himself with just 3,000 behind. The initial raiser folded, but Sammartino moved all in and De Haas snap-called.

Bap de Haas: {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds}
Dario Sammartino: {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {5-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Spades} and De Haas managed to fade a king or a queen, but Sammartino did manage to hit a better flush to eliminate the Dutchman.

Boski Eliminated by Wigg After Long Tank

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

The complete board was {7-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Anton Wigg had put his opponent, Aleksander Da Silva Boski, all in. The pot had about 20,000 in it and Wigg had Boski covered. Boski had about 23,000 behind and he thought about it for multiple minutes.

''My heart tells me call'' said Boski out loud before staying silent for another couple minutes. The clock was eventually called on him and when he had five seconds left he called.

Wigg immediately opened up {7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for a full house. Boski stood up from his chair and threw his {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} across the table. Seconds later he apologized to the table and exited the tournament area.

Kitai Eliminated

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Four players saw a {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop and action checked to Ludvig Sterner in the hijack, who bet 5,000. Everyone called and the turn was the {6-Diamonds}. The small blind checked and Davidi Kitai jammed for 21,800. Sterner called for a hair less and the small blind moved in as well covering everyone.

Davidi Kitai: {7-Spades}{6-Spades}
Ludvig Sterner: {2-Diamonds}{2-Spades}
Small blind: {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}

The river was a {5-Hearts}, so Sterner hit a boat to scoop nearly all of the chips and Kitai went bust in the miniscule side pot.
