Pollak Scores Another Elimination; Katz Out

Cary Katz raised to 36,000 on the button after the action folded around to him and Benjamin Pollak moved all in from the big blind for 900,000. Pollak had Katz well covered, and the latter had to use a time bank card to mull over his decision.

"Okay then," said Katz after a minutes thought, and made the call.

It was a classic flip situation for Katz with his tournament life on the line, but the flop put Pollak into the lead when he hit an ace. The turn and river were also no help for Katz, and he was the first to exit after the break.

Greenwood Exits at the Hands of Pollak

The action folded around to Benjamin Pollak on the button, and he raised to 27,000. Seth Davies called in the small blind before Luc Greenwood moved all in for 363,000 from the big blind. After Greenwood's count was confirmed, Pollak moved all in, which got a quick fold from Davies.
