Tikerpe Gets Some Back

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

First to act, Fabiano Kovalevski raised to 160,000 and Matthias Tikerpe called on the button, as did Patrick Clarke in the big blind. The {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and the {3-Spades} turn were checked. Clarke bet the {3-Spades} river for 125,000 and both opponents called.

Clarke shook his head and showed {A-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, which Kovalevski had beat with {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}. However, it was Tikerpe that won the pot with {Q-Spades}{9-Spades}.

In the next hand, Haoxiang Wang raised the button to 160,000 and Clarke three-bet successfully out of the small blind.

Marques Correctly Folds a Full House

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
Pedro Marques
Pedro Marques

The action folded around to Ognyan Dimov on the button, and he raised to 175,00 with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Pedro Marques called in the big blind with {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}, and the flop fell {5-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Both players checked the turn was the {5-Diamonds}.

Marques took a stab at the pot with his pair two pair and bet 225,000, but Dimov was going nowhere with pocket aces and called.

The river {5-Hearts} gave both players a full house, but it was Dimov who had a lock on the pot. Marques bet 280,000 and Dimov raised to 850,000. Marques went into the tank and needed to use a time bank card to mull over his decision. With his minute nearly up he decided to make a great fold and let his full house go into the muck.

Buckley Wins With Aces

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Mark Buckley raised to 175,000 from under the gun and both Matthias Tikerpe, in the cutoff, and Fabiano Kovalski, in the big blind, called.

The flop came down {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{6-Hearts}, and Buckley bet again after Kovalski had checked. Tikerpe called, and Kovalski folded.

The turn brought the {4-Spades}, and Buckley opted to check-call a 325,000 bet from Tikerpe before the river card was revealed to be the {10-Clubs}.

Both players checked to a showdown, and Buckley took the pot after he tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts} for the overpair to the board.

Clarke Takes From Tikerpe

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Mark Buckley raised to 175,000 two times in a row on the outer table. In the first hand, he found no resistance and in the second hand Matthias Tikerpe called in the big blind. The flop came {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and Tikerpe check-folded to a bet of 190,000.

In the fourth hand, Tikerpe raised the button and Patrick Clarke defended the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Clarke check-called a bet of 100,000. The {3-Clubs} on the turn was checked through and Clarke checked the {6-Clubs} on the river. Tikerpe bet 225,000 and Clarke snap-called to get shown {A-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}. Clarke had that beat with the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for aces and sixes and dragged in a nice pot early on.
