Brandstrom Counterfeits Sousa

Level 33 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Simon Brandstrom
Simon Brandstrom

Simon Brandstrom raised the {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} in the small blind to 1,000,000 and won the big blind and big blind ante of Marton Czuczor.

Up next it was Czuczor in the small blind with {10-Spades}{8-Clubs} and limped in, Rui Sousa checked his option with the {k-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} in the big blind. Czuczor checked the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop and a bet of Sousa won the pot.

Sousa limped the small blind with {10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Brandstrom in the big blind raised with the {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} to shut down all further action.

Sousa opened the button to 550,000 with the {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Brandstrom in the small blind three-bet to 2,000,000 with the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. Sousa called and the flop came {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}, which resulted in a bet of 800,000 by Brandstrom. Sousa raised to 1,900,000 and Brandstrom called.

The {9-Spades} followed on the turn and both players checked to the {9-Diamonds} river. Brandstrom made it 1,100,000 to go and Sousa sent his cards into the muck.
