Foxen Finds a Double Up

Level 7 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Alex Foxen was one of the latest entries and he got after it in a hurry. Foxen opened to 9,000 in the cutoff and was called by Nick Petrangelo in the small blind and Michael Addamo in the big blind.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and the action checked to Foxen who continued for 14,500. Petrangelo called and Addamo got out of the way. The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and Petrangelo checked again. Foxen shipped all in for 60,000 and Petrangelo snapped him off.

Foxen tabled {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} for two pair while Petrangelo held {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a pair and flush draw. The river was the {j-Spades} to improve Foxen to a full house and he scored the double up.
