Arvydas Merfeldas opened to 300 from under the gun on a four-handed table. The small blind called and Sergi Reixach upped it to 1,800. The bet got two quick folds and the two-time EPT side-event Champion took down an early pot to get off the mark.
Merfeldas is playing on his second bullet after getting it in on the flop with a set of fours vs Nicola Grieco's pocket aces yesterday but failing to hold. Hopefully today will fare better for the Lithuanian.
