Luksenberg Eliminates Butba

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante

The flop was {6-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and that is where things got funky between [Removed:226] and Said Butba. Luksenberg put Butba all in and a call followed.

Both players didn't have a pair but Butba had Luksenberg dominated with {10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} against his {9-Spades}{8-Clubs}. The dealer started to deal out the {5-Spades} turn and {10-Hearts} river and it took a while before Butba realized that Luksenberg had hit a straight. Butba was eliminated from the tournament with this hand.

Luksenberg cashed the EPT Cup earlier today and he he's now battling in the Main Event.

Ole Schemion
Ole Schemion

Ole Schemion ended up all in for 12,900 and Philipp Gruissem looked him up, while Gil Morgensztern had bowed out after the action in the hand.

Ole Schemion: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Philipp Gruissem: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

On a board of {10-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Schemion found no help and hit the rail.

"Finally I have a hand, the first of the day guys," Gruissem said while he raked in the pot.

Right after, Paul Leckey also departed from the very same table. For Schemion, it was the end of the Main Event in Monte-Carlo as he was already on the second entry.

Mascolo Eliminated by Coren Mitchell

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
Victoria Coren Mitchell
Victoria Coren Mitchell

Peter Danielsson kicked things off with a 1,100 open in early position and faced a three-bet to 3,200 from Victoria Coren Mitchell a couple of seats to his left. Before the action could come back to him though, Giulio Mascolo moved all in for 8,000 from the big blind. Danielsson flat called and Coren Mitchell did the same.

On the {2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{a-Spades} flop, Danielsson checked and Coren bet 8,200 all in. Danielsson was not at all happy with his spot and sighed before making a grudging fold.

Victoria Coren Mitchell: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Giulio Mascolo: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Mascolo needed a queen only but neither of his two outs came on the {6-Hearts} turn or {10-Clubs} river.

Meanwhile Danielsson told PokerNews that he had pocket-kings in the hole.

Level 6 : 200/500, 500 ante
Alan Lau
Alan Lau

A raise to 1,100 by a player in middle position was followed by a three-bet to 3,500 by Alan Lau on the button and Maksim Pisarenko in the big blind four-bet all in for what appeared to be 23,000. The initial raiser folded and Lau snap-called.

"Ace-king?" Pisarenko asked and rolled over {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Lau was way ahead with the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and flopped top set on {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Pisarenko needed a ten, however, the {6-Hearts} turn and {7-Diamonds} river were both blanks.
