Beresford Takes Another Pot

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Conor Beresford, fresh off the success of the previous hand, opened the last hand to 65,000 with {a-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Christoph Vogelsang defended {k-Hearts}{5-Spades} in the big blind and the flop fell {2-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}.

Vogelsang checked and Beresford put 30,000, which Vogelsang called. There was a {3-Spades} on the turn and both players checked.

The final card was the {9-Diamonds} and again, both players checked, leaving Beresford to collect the chips.

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Conor Beresford

Aladin Reskallah opened the cutoff to 65,000 with {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} and Timothy Adams called {q-Spades}{j-Clubs} in the small blind. Conor Beresford found {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} in the big blind and he moved all in for 655,000. Reskallah isolated moving all in over the top and Adams got out the way.

The flop was a safe {3-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Spades} for Reskallah and the turn brought the {4-Diamonds}, bringing a gutshot for a chop pot. The river was the {k-Hearts} and Beresford couldn't help but smile as he stayed in the game. The pot brought Reskallah and Beresford almost level in chips.

While the other players went on their 20-minute break, Viktor Katzenberger and Melika Razavi played a hand that lasted minutes into the second break. It was Katzenberger that had raised on the button and Razavi who defended her big blind.

The board ran out {9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Katzenberger fired barrels of 60,000, 210,000, and 480,000. Razavi called flop and turn but gave it up on the river.

Set for the Newest Arrival to the Feature Table

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

With a couple of eliminations taking place recently, Nicola Grieco has been moved to the feature table.

He defended {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} against Manig Loeser's {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} open from the big blind and flopped a set when {10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} came on the board. Grieco check-raised the 60,000 continuation to 175,000 and Loeser came along to see another card.

On the {6-Hearts} turn, Grieco barreled for 305,000, which was almost half of his stack and the German sent his cards into the muck.

Medina Doubles Through Beresford

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Conor Beresford made it 50,000 to go in the hijack and Luis Medina jammed for 605,000 in the cutoff.

"Can I get a count please?" Beresford immediately asked and sighed. Without using a time bank extension, the Brit called for nearly half of his remaining stack and the cards were tabled.

Luis Medina: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Conor Beresford: {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

"That's pretty good," Beresford as soon as he saw the cards of his table neighbor and failed to get there on a {9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{2-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{7-Hearts} board.

"I thought the first card was an eight," Timothy Adams said and Christoph Vogelsang chimed in with a "The six and nine looked like an eight."

Once Beresford had paid off Medina, he said "nice hand" and Medina replied with a "thank you.

Adams Leads Twice

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Timothy Adams
Timothy Adams

Christoph Vogelsang raised to 55,000 and Timothy Adams defended his big blind. On an {8-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, Adams check-called a bet of 40,000 before the {5-Spades} turn got dealt.

This time, Adams opted to lead out for 60,000, Vogelsang raised to 210,000 and Adams called. The {2-Clubs} river brought four to a straight and after burning through one time extensions, Adams front-shoved for 670,000 and Vogelsang released.

Shortly after, Adams won a small pot off Beresford to move back up to 1,500,000.
