Katzenberger Takes From Loeser

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Manig Loeser raised to 100,000 on the button, Viktor Katzenberger three-bet to 260,000 in the big blind and Loeser called.

The {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop, {8-Spades} turn and {8-Hearts} river got checked around. Katzenberger showed {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} for the winner, while Loeser mucked {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

Adams Takes From Grieco

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Nicola Grieco raised to 85,000 in the cutoff and Timothy Adams defended his big blind. Adams check-called 100,000 on the {q-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop before the {9-Spades} turn got checked by both players.

The {5-Diamonds} river prompted a 100,000 bet from Adams and Grieco quickly called, but couldn't defeat Adams' {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}.

Small Pots Only on Outer Table

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

The action on the outer table has slowed down significantly and barely any hand made it past the flop, with Conor Beresford winning the majority of it so far.

Luis Medina opened to 80,000 in the cutoff and Massimo Mosele called in the big blind. Both checked the {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop and Mosele check-folded the {a-Diamonds} turn to a bet of 95,000.

Bruno Volkmann limped in late position and Timothy Adams did so from the cutoff. Aladin Reskallah jammed from the button for what appeared to be just shy of 700,000 and that won the pot.

Adams raised to 80,000 and Wiktor Malinowski defended the big blind but quickly check-folded a {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop to a bet of 135,000.

Last but not least, Beresford won a pot post flop when his button raise to 80,000 was called by Nicola Grieco. A flop of {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} brought a check by Grieco, Beresford continued for 70,000 and that ended the hand right there.

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Wei Huang
Wei Huang

Wei Huang raised to 90,000 with {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, Manig Loeser called {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} on the button, Viktor Katzenberger called with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} in the small blind and Ryan Riess called with {8-Spades}{3-Spades} in the big blind.

On a {9-Spades}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop, Huang continued for 125,000, which got Loeser and Riess out of the way. Katzenberger, with top pair and a gutshot, called.

The turn was the {3-Hearts} and Huang fired a second barrel worth 250,000. With 1,320,000 behind, Katzenberger laid the best hand down.

Hajiyev Wins Small After Flopping Big

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Another hand, another ace-jack for Ryan Riess, this time it was {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}. After he raised to 85,000 from the hijack, Rustam Hajiyev called {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} on the cutoff and Manig Loeser called {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} in the big blind.

Hajiyev flopped a set on the {k-Hearts}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} board and the Azerbaijani bet 95,000. Both opponents folded to award the pot to Hajiyev.

Riess Doubles Through Greenwood

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Ryan Riess
Ryan Riess

With 18 big blinds, Ryan Riess was dealt {a-Spades}{j-Spades} and he committed all of it from the button. Sam Greenwood made the call with {a-Hearts}{10-Spades}.

Having just doubled himself, Greenwood now was the one to hand over chips over as he didn't find either of his three tens on an {8-Hearts}{4-Spades}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} board.

Beresford Takes Most Pots

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Conor Beresford has been the most active player on the outer table, coming in with raises to 80,000 and taking a few small pots. Now, he raised to 80,000 from under the gun, Timothy Adams three-bet to 210,000 on the button, and Beresford called.

The {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} board got checked down to the river, where Beresford took it with a bet of 200,000.

Greenwood Doubles Through Katzenberger

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

Sam Greenwood raised to 90,000 from the hijack with {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades} and got calls from Manig Loeser with {k-Spades}{j-Hearts} on the button and Viktor Katzenberger with {9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} in the big blind.

The {2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop got checked around. Things heated up on the {6-Diamonds} turn, which gave Katzenberger an up and down straight draw to add to his top pair. He led for 140,000, Greenwood raised to 380,000, and Loeser folded. Katzenberger burned through two time bank cards before moving all in, and Greenwood called.

Greenwood was at risk but had the best of it. The {6-Hearts} river paired the board, safe for the Canadian, and he doubled up.

Metaal Steals

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Govert Metaal opened 130,000 from under the gun out of 545,000 stack with {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The more than three times the big blind bet was enough to secure folds from around the table.

Volkmann Above a Million

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Bruno Volkmann
Bruno Volkmann

Soon after coming back from the break, Bruno Volkmann jammed for 680,000 first to act and scooped the blinds and big blind ante.

The next hand, Aladin Reskallah opened to 85,000 and Volkmann came along out of the big blind. Both checked the {9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop and Volkmann led for 80,000 on the {k-Hearts} turn, which Reskallah called.

After the {9-Diamonds} river, Volkmann used a time bank extension and made it 150,000. Reskallah also needed a time bank and ended up sending his cards into the muck.

Last but not least, Wiktor Malinowski opened to 80,000 and Volkmann three-bet to 240,000 in the small blind. Malinowski glanced at the stack of his opponent and folded.
