Zahiti Loses Two Small Pots

Level 23 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Morten Hvam raised and was called by Fidan Zahiti in the big blind. On the {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop, Zahiti checked and snap-called a bet of 50,000 by Hvam. They checked the {7-Diamonds} turn and the {q-Diamonds} river, and Zahiti tabled the {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Hvam had that beat with the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Zahiti shook his head.

One hand later, Vlastimil Pustina opened to 50,000 from under the gun and he was called by Zahiti in the small blind and Stefan Egermann in the big blind. The {q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} flop was checked and Zahiti bet the {6-Spades} turn for 65,000, only Egermann came along.

After the {j-Spades} river, Zahiti checked and Egermann now bet 75,000.

While trying to get some information via table chat, Zahiti used two bank extensions and eventually made the call. Egermann turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and that won the pot.
