Paiva Takes From Pobal

Level 26 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Luke Marsh made it 110,000 to go with the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} from under the gun and Mikalai Pobal in the small blind gave it some thought with the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. He three-bet to 375,000 and Marsh elected to fold.

Tomas Paiva limped the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} in early position and Pobal raised to 230,000 on the button with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, Paiva made the call. On a {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Paiva quickly checked and Pobal checked back to see the {a-Hearts} turn.

Paiva checked once more and Pobal checked back. The {9-Hearts} rolled off on the river and Paiva now bet 375,000 to force a fold from the only remaining former EPT Main Event champion.
