Kuzmanovic Takes From Kruse

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Fedor Kruse raised in middle position and called a three-bet by Boris Kuzmanovic in the hijack to see the {q-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades} flop, on which Kruse checked and called a bet of 18,000. Kruse also checked the {q-Spades} turn to see another bet of 42,000 by Kuzmanovic, which he called.

After the {5-Spades} river, both eventually checked and Kruse tabled the {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, Kuzmanovic won the pot with {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for trips queens.

Vogelsang Flies in Late

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Tom Vogelsang was missing from his seat for the first five hours of Day 2 of the €5,300 Main Event but he just ran into the room looking for his seat.

Vogelsang started the day with 142,900 in front of an empty seat and he blinded down to about 95,000. That is still close to 40 big blinds but it is well below the average stack.

Brennan Gets a Double

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Dario Sammartino limped in from early position and Andriu Stakelis limped in behind from early position. Action folded around to Keith Brennan, who ripped in his last 22,000 on the button. Sammartino slid out a stack of T5,000 chips once it became his turn to do so, isolating Stakelis out of the pot.

Keith Brennan: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Dario Sammartino: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

Brennan found an ace on the flop and held easily from there as the board ran out {4-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{j-Clubs} to score him the double.

Sorensson Doubles Through Brosky

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Sebastian Sorensson
Sebastian Sorensson

Michiel Brosky limped from the small blind and big blind Sebastian Sorensson checked his option.

The flop fell {8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Brosky checked to Sorensson who bet 10,500. Brosky jammed for effectively 33,500 and Sorensson called it off.

Brosky had an open-ended straight draw with {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Sorensson had a pair with {k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

The turn was the {3-Diamonds} and the river the {a-Diamonds} and Sorensson got up from his seat because he thought he lost the hand to a straight. Sorensson then realized he won and sat down with a big smile on his face.

Gumz Gets a River Fold

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Allesandro Toninello in the small blind and Fabian Gumz in the big blind found themselves in a heads-up pot with 7,500 each committed preflop and another 4,500 each that had just gone in on the flop {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}{7-Spades}. The turn came {3-Clubs} and Toninello checked over to Gumz, who bet 10,000. Toninello thought for about a minute and then called.

The river came {6-Clubs} and Toninello checked over to Gumz again. Gumz threw out four T5,000 chips and announced a bet of 18,000, sending Toninello back into the tank for another 90 seconds before relinquishing his hand to earn Gumz the pot.

More for Ensan and Di Romualdo

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Hossein Ensan
Hossein Ensan

The cards of Giuseppe Carbone were already in the muck as he had to pay off the 66,000 of Tiziano Di Romualdo, who had doubled with {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} on a board of {10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

One table over, Pascal Vos was on his way out after he got his shorter stack in with {k-Spades}{q-Hearts} against the {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} of Hossein Ensan. The {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop left Vos in desperate shape and he was drawing dead after a blank on the turn.

Nicholas Galtos: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Henrik Hecklen: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

Galtos was in trouble as the flop came {a-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and was unable to improve any further as the turn {k-Spades} and river {3-Spades} completed the runout to result in his elimination from the tournament.
