Gaby Livshitz raised to 100,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and Dietrich Fast in the small blind called with the {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. The flop brought {k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Fast checked, as did Livshitz. Fast paired up on the {7-Clubs} turn and he checked once more, no bet by Livshitz followed.

The {6-Clubs} came on the river and Fast checked the third street in a row. Livshitz made it 150,000 to go and Fast folded the best hand.

Laurent Michot opened to 120,000 from early position with the {k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} and Norbert Szecsi came along out of the big blind with the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}. Michot hit top pair on {q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and they both checked. After the {2-Spades} turn, Szecsi checked once more and Michot bet 125,000, Szecsi called with his gutshot.

The river brought a blank {4-Hearts} and Szecsi checked, Michot now bet 275,000 and collected the pot without showdown.

Szecsi Pulls Further Ahead

Laurent Michot opened the action with the {5-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Ricardo Da Rocha called with the {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} in the hijack. Norbert Szecsi in the small blind three-bet to 425,000 with the {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and Michot used one time bank before electing to fold.

Da Rocha gave it some consideration and called to see the {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop. Szecsi bet 275,000 and that sent Da Rocha into the think tank. The Brazilian used two time bank extensions and folded.

Tomas Paiva limped the cutoff with the {a-Spades}{7-Hearts} and Gaby Livshitz in the small blind raised to 225,000 with the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}, no call followed.

Dietrich Fast found {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} in the small blind and four-bet to 2,800,000, keeping 185,000 behind. Everyone including Pobal and Marsh folded.

Fast found {a-Clubs}{10-Spades} on the button and raised to 125,000 which Norbert Szecsi called in the big blind with {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}. The flop came {3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, Szecsi check-raised the 80,000 bet of Fast to 250,000. Fast folded.

Paiva Takes From Pobal

Luke Marsh made it 110,000 to go with the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} from under the gun and Mikalai Pobal in the small blind gave it some thought with the {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. He three-bet to 375,000 and Marsh elected to fold.

Tomas Paiva limped the {k-Clubs}{j-Spades} in early position and Pobal raised to 230,000 on the button with {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}, Paiva made the call. On a {q-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Spades} flop, Paiva quickly checked and Pobal checked back to see the {a-Hearts} turn.

Paiva checked once more and Pobal checked back. The {9-Hearts} rolled off on the river and Paiva now bet 375,000 to force a fold from the only remaining former EPT Main Event champion.

The {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} flop was checked to Paiva and he bet 130,000, no call followed and the pot was pushed to Paiva.

Mikalai Pobal then raised to 100,000 with the {j-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Paiva defended the big blind with the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}. The {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} flop and {3-Spades} turn were checked and the {8-Diamonds} river brought no betting action either. Pobal won the pot with his pair of jacks.

Pobal Flops Higher Pair to Leave Michot Short

Luke Marsh raised to 110,000 from the hijack with {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Ricardo Da Rocha found {k-Hearts}{q-Spades} in the cutoff. Da Rocha three-bet to 330,000 and everyone folded including Marsh.

Laurent Michot held {9-Spades}{9-Hearts} in the early position and raised to 125,000 and got no action.

Tomas Paiva limped in from the cutoff with {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and Mikalai Pobal opted to check with {j-Hearts}{3-Hearts} The flop came {j-Clubs}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}, Pobal check-called the 90,000 bet of Paiva. The turn was the {6-Clubs}, Pobal checked again. Paiva bet 300,000 and that was enough to get the fold.

Dietrich Fast raised to 100,000 from the middle position to pick up the blinds and ante with {8-Spades}{8-Clubs}.

Paiva limped in from the middle position with {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}. Laurent Michot completed his small blind with {a-Spades}{2-Hearts} and Luke Marsh opted to check with {j-Hearts}{4-Spades}. The flop came {2-Spades}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}, it was checked to Paiva who bet 120,000 to get both of his opponents to fold.

Gaby Livshitz had {q-Spades}{10-Spades} in the hijack and raised to 100,000. Pobal found {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} in the cutoff and called. Laurent Michot three-bet to 335,000 on the button with {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}. The blinds folded and so did Livshitz. Pobal called. The flop came {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for Michot to hit a pair of tens and for Pobal to hit a pair of kings. They both checked to the {5-Clubs} on the turn. Pobal bet 280,000 and Michot called. The river completed the board with the {2-Diamonds} to keep Pobal ahead. Pobal barreled a bet of 450,000 into the pot, leaving 490,000 behind. Michot looked over to Pobal's stack, used two time bank cards, and then decided to call to be left behind short.
