Kovalyuk Gets Bluffed

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

A short while ago, we reported that Mikhail Kovalyuk bluffed Mikhail Shalamov...and just now, Shamalov got revenge on Kovalyuk by bluffing him back.

Shamalov was in middle position preflop and Kovalyuk was playing from the big blind. On the {8-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Kovalyuk check-called Shamalov's 3,500 bet.

The turn brought the {a-Hearts} and both players opted to check. On the {5-Clubs} river, Kovalyuk checked again and Shamalov made it 8,500 to see his cards. Kovalyuk folded but Shamalov showed his cards anyway, turning over {j-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a busted straight draw. The pot brings the two players level-pegging in the counts.
