Back and Forth

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Dmitry Yurasov
Dmitry Yurasov

Dmitry Yurasov and Sergey Petrushevskiy have been moved but are still sat next to each other on their new table. Now though, it's Yurasov who has position.

Just now, Petrushevskiy opted to limp and Yurasov upped it four times, to 10,000. Petrushevskiy made the call and they went heads up to the flop.

It fell {6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Petrushevskiy check called Yurasov's small 6,000 continuation. On the {j-Hearts} turn, Petrushevskiy checked and then tank-folded to the 16,000 barrel, leaving Yurasov to take the chips.

Bargatov Barrels into Denisov

Level 13 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Aleksandr Denisov has dropped somewhat in the last couple of levels, most recently he lost a pot against Petr Bartagov.

Bargatov opened the betting to 6,000 and Denisov defended his big blind before the two went to the flop. It came down {4-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Denisov check-called Bargatov's 4,000 continuation. On the {q-Clubs} turn, he checked again and asked to see how much Bargatov was playing behind, before calling the 13,000 bet.

When the {k-Hearts} landed on the river, Denisov checked for the last time and made a quick fold when Bargatov bet 34,500 all-in. He is still in good shape with more than one and a half times average, while Bargatov took the much-needed pot.

Zhdanov Eliminated by Peretz

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Dmitriy Zhdanov
Dmitriy Zhdanov

All the money went in preflop between Dmitriy Zhdanov and Yaniv Peretz and it was a classic flip with Zhadanov the one whose tournament life was on the line.

Yaniv Peretz: {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Dmitriy Zhdanov: {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Peretz connected on the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{q-Spades} flop and Zhadanov couldn't recover on the {8-Hearts} turn or the {4-Clubs} river. He finished in 26th place.

Romanov Four-Bets into Denisov

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Blinds are getting chunky now and many players are sat on 20-30 big blinds. One of those was Igor Romanov, who opened in early position just now. He made it 7,500 and Aleksandr Denisov clicked to 11,500. Everyone else got out of the way and Romanov was quick to four-bet all-in. Denisov asked for a count but decided the price was too high and passed.

Kryazhev Doubles Through Pisarenko

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Maksim Pisarenko opened the button to 9,000 and the small blind called. Andrey Kryazhev three-bet all-in for a round 100,000 and Pisarenko snapped. The small blind moved aside and they were heads up.

Andrey Kryazhev: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Maksim Pisarenko: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

It was pocket pair vs suited overcards and the players were virtually 50-50. On the {6-Spades}{j-Spades}{4-Spades} however, Kryazhev moved into the lead. The {2-Clubs} turn saw his lead increase and the {9-Hearts} river was a brick. It leaves Pisarenko down to 11 big blinds, with levels about to go up and Kryazhev on a very healthy stack, with more than 65 big blinds.
