They played 15 levels on Day 1 of EPT Online 01: $1,050 NLHE [Arena Championship], with just over 600 players surviving the day, but with registration open until the start of Day 2 play, the field isn't quite set yet. The prize pool is now over $2.2 million and still growing as players jump in the game with a bit more than 20 big blinds to start the second day of play.

When the dust settled on the first day of play, Irish player Toby "sadface11" Joyce was sitting behind the biggest stack of chips. He was the only player to collect more than 4 million chips on Day 1, but several other players have stacks in the 3 million range to start the day, including Michel "FreeLancerZZ" Dattani and Ilya "thienlao21" Korobkin, while Andrey "ThePateychuk" Pateychuk rounds out the top ten with 2.9 million.
