Day 3 of Event 01 Will Set Final Table
Day 3 is set to begin in EPT Online 01: $1,050 NLHE [Arena Championship] and Brazilian Fabio Luiz "FLBonatto" Bonatto starts the day with the biggest stack. Bonatto is the only player to bag more than 30 million in chips by the end of the day, and brings more than 6 million extra chips to the table compared to his closest rivals. Daan "DaanOss" Mulders and Patrice "pAtcAsh83" Brandt both bagged more than 25 million chips at the end of Day 2 to round out the top counts.
Bonatto is no stranger to deep runs. According to his Pocket Fives profile, he already has a SCOOP title, earned in 2016 when he took down SCOOP-16-M for more than $45K. He also bagged the Sunday Million on PokerStars in 2018 for his biggest score to date, $172,955. He could have a chance to double that figure on Thursday's final day, but he'll have to survive Day 3 first. Here's a look at the top ten stacks to start the day.

The plan was to end Day 2 when they played down to 72 players left, but players had other ideas as they neared that threshold. In the final hand, with 73 players left in action, both Markku "markovitsus" Koplimaa and "kackvogel84" lost all their chips on different tables to bring the Day 3 starting field down to 71 remaining.
Play on Day 3 will begin with a few minutes left in Level 31 (Blinds: 70K/140K/17.5K) and continues until the final table is set. When nine players remain with chips, they'll bag up one final time and take the day off on Wednesday, returning to the virtual felt on Thursday to play it down to a winner. PokerNews will be following the action all the way to the winner on Thursday, so stay tuned here, and check out all the other action from the 2020 PokerStars EPT Online.
